Hello! My name is DeMarcus Contreras and I am from Silver City, NM. I studied Psychology and Art for my Bachelor's degree at Western New Mexico University, learning about human behavior, emotions, research methodologies, and various creative processes. Now, I am currently studying for my Master of Data Analytics at New Mexico State University! Here, the focus of my studies is on R, Python, SQL, and database management.

At the moment my main goal is to complete the Master of Data Analytics program at NMSU. Through this degree, I will then have the background to pursue a career in data science or in database management/administration.
Hobbies
Hobbies
My hobbies consist of digital & traditional art, making music, and all things computer-related. My artistic ventures are tools that I use for relaxation and self-expression, however, I love more technical hobbies (computers) as well. This is evident in the fact that I have built my own gaming computer and actively keep up with the latest news on parts, OS updates, vulnerabilities in software, and the most recent technological advancements taking place worldwide.
